## Company: QT Technologies Ireland Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > ASICS Engineering General Summary: Core Responsibilities * Agent Architecture & Design: Design system architecture that breaks high-level user goals into executable, autonomous steps. * API & Tool Integration: Connect AI models to external services, databases, and APIs so agents can actively manipulate data and perform actions. * Prompt Engineering & Reasoning: Craft system prompts, chain-of-thought pathways, and function-calling logic to guide agent decision-making and tool usage. * Memory & State Management: Implement short-term and long-term memory systems so agents maintain context across conversations and workflows. * Monitoring & Guardrails: Monitor agent behavior in production, define safety guardrails, and implement error handling and human-in-the-loop workflows for critical tasks. Essential Skills & Qualifications * Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. * AI Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks used to orchestrate agents and chains (e.g., LangChain). * LLM Competency: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), tokenization, embeddings, and API capabilities. * System Integrations: Experience with RESTful APIs, vector databases, and semantic search. * Infrastructure: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and scaling intelligent applications. OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
