## Company: Qualcomm China ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Join Qualcomm's Hardware Customer Engineering team to support IoT connectivity solutions and customer product enablement. This role combines customer-facing technical support, connectivity systems expertise, and system-level hardware engineering. You will collaborate with customers and ecosystem partners to drive product commercialization through hardware bring-up, design reviews, connectivity validation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and system-level troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong hardware fundamentals, a solid understanding of embedded and MCU-based systems, and hands-on experience with connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A good understanding of wireless communication principles and connectivity system behavior, including RF performance, receiver/transmitter concepts, coexistence, interoperability, and troubleshooting methodologies, is highly desirable. Experience with IoT connectivity products, power optimization, and wireless certification is a plus. # Responsibilities · Provide technical support for customer products leveraging IoT connectivity solutions. · Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of hardware, connectivity, performance, and system-level issues. · Perform validation, debugging, performance characterization, and design reviews across RF, antenna, power, and system integration domains. · Collaborate with customers, ecosystem partners, and engineering teams to enable successful product development and commercialization. · Create technical documentation and deliver customer-facing technical guidance and enablement. # Basic Qualifications · 1+ years of experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other connectivity technologies. · 1+ years of experience in hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, failure analysis, or customer support. · Strong foundation in hardware design, embedded systems, and wireless communications. · Ability to analyze schematics, datasheets, and system-level designs. · Hands-on experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment, including WLAN/BT test systems. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. · Self-driven, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. · Effective English communication skills in a global engineering environment. # Preferred Qualifications · Background in wireless communications, connectivity systems, or RF engineering. · Familiarity with RF, antenna, coexistence, wireless certification, and connectivity system fundamentals. · Familiarity with embedded and connectivity system architecture, including board bring-up, boot flow, interface debugging, and hardware-software interaction. · Experience working with customers, ecosystem partners, ODMs/OEMs, or certification laboratories. · Experience with Python-based scripting or test automation. · Experience with Qualcomm® connectivity products and platforms. · 6+ years of experience in wireless communications or related fields is preferred for consideration at higher career levels # Education Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
