Staff Audio Systems Engineer

## Company: Qualcomm Vietnam Company Limited, Hanoi Branch Office ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Engineering General Summary: Job Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Audio Systems Engineer with strong expertise in speech/audio signal processing and working knowledge of AI-based audio models. You will train and optimize audio models for various voice/audio use cases, integrate AI with speech processing DSP blocks, and collaborate with software and Customer Engineering teams to deliver production-quality solutions across multiple platforms. Responsibilities: * Develop, optimize and tune AI based audio solutions, including ECNS, noise suppression, and filtering * Evaluate and improve speech quality using objective and subjective methods * Work closely with software and Customer Engineering teams to enable and debug end-to-end use cases * Support customer deployments and field issues through tuning, model improvements, or targeted analysis * Contribute to model training, validation, and selection for ECNS processing * Collaborate with research teams to improve algorithms and models Minimum Qualifications: * Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for speech/audio * 5+ years of experience in audio/voice signal processing * Hands-on experience with ECNS, noise suppression, or speech enhancement * Experience with MATLAB and/or Python * Strong C/C++ programming skills * Experience working with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with AI models for speech/audio processing * Experience integrating DSP and AI in real-time systems * Familiarity with audio quality evaluation methods * Experience with embedded or low-power platforms Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (PhD preferred) Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
