Lead and mentor a team of electrical and mechanical engineers
Promote accountability, ownership, and timely execution of engineering deliverables
Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications
Drive improvements in engineering workflows, tools, and documentation practices

Oversee the development of low-voltage switchboard systems (including UL 891 and UL 1558 applications)
Ensure designs meet customer requirements, one-line diagrams, and system performance expectations
Guide system-level design decisions including breakers, bus configurations, controls, metering, and protection schemes
Support efforts to standardize designs and improve scalability through modular approaches

Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and production-ready
Support sales and estimating teams with technical input, including BOM development and quoting alignment
Participate in customer discussions, including design reviews and technical clarifications
Coordinate with supply chain on component selection and vendor engagement

Ensure adherence to UL, NEC, and other relevant industry standards
Support factory testing, system validation, and commissioning activities
Maintain documentation related to certifications, testing, and design verification
