Senior Software Engineer - Resware

Resware is Qualia’s premier on-premise title production product providing unmatched customization and configuration capabilities for enterprise title organizations operating at scale. Title and escrow companies across the country rely on Resware to manage their operations and successfully close thousands of transactions every year. While part of the Qualia portfolio of solutions, the Resware team operates as a dedicated business unit, including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services,  and Support,  focused on serving the unique needs of enterprise  title and escrow organizations through its on-premise solution. 

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong product-centric mindset who understands that quality solutions stem from deep collaboration with our Product team. In this role, you'll work closely with Product to analyze customer needs and craft innovative, high-quality software that addresses real-world problems. Your technical expertise, aligned with strategic product insights, will ensure that our engineering solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

You'll contribute to the development of new features and modernize our suite of applications. With a focus on autonomy and innovation, you'll bring cutting-edge ideas to life, enhancing our products for tens of thousands of users. Projects include building responsive UIs with React, modern REST APIs, AI offerings, and integrating the latest technologies.

You have experience shipping quality software and a proven track record of getting it done. You are comfortable taking full responsibility for complex, high-impact projects where the quality of your work matters. You've learned from mistakes, know how to troubleshoot production issues, and adapt effectively to different team environments.

Our engineers are full stack generalists, and your responsibilities will be flexible based on company needs as well as your skills and interests. We aim to empower all our engineers to get them involved in making the product as good as it can be.

• →Deliver value by providing solutions that effectively address customer needs, drive business objectives
• →Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements to our Windows desktop,  APIs, AI and our server software products
• →Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritize feature development
• →Collaborate with team members, share knowledge and expertise, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• →Communicate effectively with team members and customers to debug problems, gather feedback, and present technical solutions
• →Participate in architectural decisions and conduct research to ensure the scalability and performance of our solutions
• →Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and scalability
• →You’ll play a key part in modernizing our tech stack and architecture
• →You’ll work on diverse software integrations, AI offerings, and other new features

• You are a strong full-stack engineer and app developer with 8+ years of C# experience
• You have integrated or created AI products for consumers
• You have worked on both modern and legacy systems
• We also value engineers who truly care – who care about the quality of their work, their teammates, clients, support, and sales staff. We look for engineers who are always willing to help
• You have made key design decisions for large projects and can discuss and implement design patterns and trained junior engineers on them
• You have led features and initiatives before in your engineering past
• You have worked on multiple engineering teams, both small and large

While this role is based in Austin, Texas, we're open to exploring remote possibilities for qualified candidates. We have other physical office locations in San Francisco, California, and Concord, New Hampshire.

• Windows and Web Development
• C#, .NET Framework 4.8 through to .NET Core/8
• Claude Code, AI-Assisted Coding Experience
• React/Javascript 
• WPF, WinForms and ASP.NET
• MS SQL Server
• Strong understanding of Agile, Lean principles, A/B testing concepts.

• Test automation
