System Engineer (Market Data Distribution Systems)

Operate, maintain, and optimize global market data distribution platforms with a focus on high availability, low latency, and system stability.

Configure and support real-time market data environments across global infrastructures.

Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring readiness for changes in market volatility and trading volumes.

Troubleshoot complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis to identify and eliminate recurring issues.

Collaborate with development teams to test, validate, and deploy new software releases and platform enhancements.

Work closely with internal stakeholders and business users to implement market data distribution requirements.

Manage system upgrades, security patches, operating system maintenance, and platform hygiene activities.

Support market data feed migrations and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools to improve efficiency and reliability.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across monitoring, automation, security, and operational processes.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems in a production environment.

Good scripting skills using Shell (Bash/Korn Shell) and/or Python.

Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems.

Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability production platforms.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues under pressure.

Experience with system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Ability to work effectively in a global, highly collaborative environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
