Traveling Plumber Journeyman

Our traveling teams support projects in data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, industrial facilities, mission-critical environments, and other large-scale commercial projects.

The Traveling Plumbing Journeyman installs, tests, and maintains plumbing systems on large-scale industrial and mechanical construction projects across multiple states. You’ll work alongside Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality installations.

• →Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial plumbing systems
• →Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layouts
• →Install piping, fittings, water supply, gas, drainage, and related systems
• →Prepare and install materials according to project requirements
• →Perform pressure, hydrostatic, and leak testing
• →Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• →Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades
• →Maintain quality standards and ensure installations meet project specifications and applicable codes
• →Follow OSHA and company safety requirements, including proper PPE
• →Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas
• →Document completed work, testing, inspections, and material usage
• →Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced plumbers

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
• OSHA 10 certification required
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license where required by state or local regulations
• Ability to read plumbing drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Knowledge of copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and other piping systems
• Experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
• Welding, brazing, soldering, or pipe threading experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and jobsite procedures
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively
