Questex is currently seeking an Editor to join the Fierce Biotech Team. Please note: Questex is unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Edit daily biotech news stories, features and analysis for accuracy, clarity, structure and impact. 
• Report and write your own daily news stories, features and other enterprise coverage. 
• Work closely with the senior editor to set daily coverage priorities and identify the stories Fierce Biotech should own. 
• Help manage the daily Fierce Biotech newsletter, including selecting and ordering stories, writing newsletter copy and ensuring it is ready to publish on deadline. 
• Take the lead on daily editorial operations when the senior editor is away. 
• Move quickly on breaking news while helping reporters identify smart follow-ups, broader trends and opportunities for deeper reporting. 
• Help reporters sharpen story angles, strengthen reporting and develop their voices. 
• Contribute to special reports, recurring editorial franchises and other newsroom initiatives. 
• Participate in Fierce events, including moderating panels and interviews, helping develop editorial programming and representing the brand onstage. 
• Collaborate with colleagues across Fierce Biotech, Fierce Pharma and the broader newsroom on major stories and projects.
