  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Ability to work with and interpret primary documents

  • Basic skills in data collection, database management, and basic statistical analysis

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the restraint-oriented approach of the Quincy Institute and thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

  • General administrative work for the Quincy Institute, as needed

  • The candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in political science, international relations, regional studies, or a related field, or be a recent graduate in these areas

  • Proficient in basic technical skills, including Google Suite. Advanced understanding of data analysis and using generative AI for research are a plus

  • The application closes on November 15, 2026 (11:59 pm). To be considered, applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample (preferably a non-academic writing sample).
