Who We're Seeking
Qvest US is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics practitioner to lead our US Data & Analytics practice. You will be responsible for leading the D&A practice including technical direction, business development, team development and project delivery. This includes leading interactions with customers and channel partners, as well as internal stakeholders to promote the Qvest D&A practice and actively participate in the growth of Qvest.
The Practice Lead will work closely across Practices, Business Units, and Sales & Marketing to communicate strategy, offerings, and innovation within the practice, identifying opportunities for new and existing services and solutions that can be offered to clients. The role will also be responsible for working closely with clients in identifying their business needs and providing technical solutions. You will provide operational management on a regular basis to ensure that the business is set up to successfully impact Qvest revenue, retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.
P&L Management and Business DevelopmentTake responsibility for the Data & Analytics practice revenue and annual budgets, showing year over year growth.Partner with vendors, leadership and sales to identify customer opportunities. Once identified, understand business objectives and challenges, establish trust and set vision with the customer, develop proposals, and win work for the practice.
Practice ManagementDevelop the practice’s internal and external presence, evangelize & champion our services and products, and manage the day-to-day operations of the team, including project management, resource allocation, budgeting, and practice-level profit and loss managementStay abreast of industry and technology changes in the areas of data and analytics technologies, especially as they lead us into a world rapidly moving towards AICultivate and manage the portfolio of offerings, SOWs, and IP to maximize profitability and achieve revenue/margin objectives
Project DeliveryArchitect solutions, create documentation, and produce delivery estimations while leading senior team members in these tasks. Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them into requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.Follow consulting methodology to lead project teams through all core phases, including setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Engage in hands-on development using SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, and design data models on platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining executive-level relationships through consistent support, impactful thought leadership, and high-quality project execution. Facilitate workshops, provide status updates, and lead meetings across executive levels, while articulating complex business challenges into actionable plans with clear communication.
Hands-on D&A expertise and experience including but not limited to:10+ years in a consulting or a data-focused role, and expert-level experience with SQL in platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, Fabric, or similar3+ years’ experience in professional services and pre-sales as a data architectStrong theoretical and practical knowledge of necessary tools for analytics on cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. E.g. S3, Athena, IAM, networking configuration and management, etc.Significant hands-on experience with business driven / self-service BI, using tools similar to Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similarSignificant experience designing and building relational database and/or data warehouses, and with managing and troubleshooting complex analytics solutions

Media & Entertainment or adjacent industry experienceAn understanding of current key AI trends and the AI landscape as it relates to Data & AnalyticsKnowledge of industry best practices in data and analyticsExperience at a large consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, EY, CapGemini, PWC)Ability to automate data-related tasks using scripts and programming languagesAbility to profile, explore, and analyze data to identify common data patternsFamiliarity with established and emerging data technologies
