Who We're Seeking
As a seasoned professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in television, you excel at understanding production workflows. You are dedicated to enhancing production methodologies and consistently seek opportunities for advancement. You are tech-savvy and understand the different systems used in a broadcast organization and their interoperability. You like to learn, and your proactive approach encompasses integrating new technologies.
  • Assess Current State Architecture, Process Workflow, and solution inventory and identify key pain points
  • Support definition of Future State Architecture and Process Workflow with GAP analysis 
  • Support Project planning and implementation with high quality deliverables
  • Quickly immerse yourself in broadcast projects, understanding client infrastructure and procedures 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external business partners. 
  • Identify continuous improvement and processes of the broadcast transformation practice
  • 2-5 years experience in leading end-to-end delivery of cloud-based workflows, Broadcast IP transformation, and broadcast engineering.
  • Knowledge of SMPTE 2110 standards and NDI protocols.
  • Working knowledge of solutions from leading broadcast technology vendors, including:
  • WideOrbit
  • Avid (including Wolftech)
  • Dalet
  • Grass Valley (including SAM)
  • EVS
  • Adobe
  • VIZRT

  • Ross Video
  • Amagi
  • Skyline

  • Deep understanding of video file formats, audio file formats, multicasting, and final delivery mechanisms.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset: Seamlessly partner with engineering, business, and sales teams.
  • Meaningful contribution to business strategy: Actively participate in discussions and forums that shape Qvest.US's business direction.
  • Highly accountable for project success: Understands how to drive projects on track and achieve business results.
  • Managerial courage: Willing to have difficult conversations with colleagues to reach key decisions.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrated technological depth and breadth: Possesses a strong understanding of various technology domains relevant to the media & entertainment industry.
  • Ability to learn quickly: Adapts to new technologies and builds sufficient knowledge to lead across changing environments.
  • Experience at a broadcast organization or System Integrator
  • Understanding Broadcasters, TV Networks, and video service providers ecosystems 
  • Exposure to major Broadcast Associations (IABM, NAB, SMPTE, SVG, SBE)
  • Exposure SMPTE-2110 standard and NDI

    Employees are responsible for traveling to and from client sites as required by their project or assignment, regardless of location. Travel may include sites outside the employee’s primary office location, state, or region. 
     
    While remote or hybrid work may be permitted for certain projects, client needs take precedence. Employees are expected to report onsite at the client location when required by the project scope, client request, or management directive.
