Verint’s Principal Software Engineer is responsible for developing, troubleshooting, resolving challenging problem and providing technical guidance to development teams for our strategic enterprise product – Common Real Time System (CRTS). You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, fostering innovation, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of the product.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop, maintain and evaluate emerging & established cloud-based technologies against product requirements and for creating proof of concept for guiding the development team.
- →Provide technical leadership by influencing the design and architecture of major software components.
- →Produce technical documentation and design artifacts to ensure scalability and reusability across the application while enforcing best practices.
- →Foster a culture of creativity and excellence through technical innovations and thought leadership.
- →Mentor and train other engineers on design techniques, test automation methodologies and coding standards.
- →Adhere to strict deliverable deadlines while able to multitask.
- →Work in a globally distributed environment spread across multiple time zones.
- →Collaborate with peer architects and gain knowledge of integrated solutions
- →Champion product quality, customer-centric thinking, and technical excellence.
- →Pioneer research and development efforts to evolve the product and explore new technologies.
- →Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to understand and resolve the issues in production.
Requirements
~2 min read- 8 years of overall experience, including enterprise, full-life cycle in architecture, design and development of large-scale applications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent experience
- 7 years experience with Go and Java
- 5 years experience with Pulsar, NATS, Valkey or similar technology
- 5 years experience in cloud-based product development, microservices architecture, API and event-driven development and best practices
- 5 years experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies; you should be a developer by nature, technology enthusiastic with a sharp mind and great analytical skills
- 4 years experience with Containerized Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Keda
- 5 years experience with AWS (S3, EKS, Bedrock) and additional vendors (GCP, Azure)
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
- An in-depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and proven experience in the transition of an on-prem solution into a multi-tenant multi-cloud environment
- 4 years experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes
- 4 years experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience in Monitoring Solutions like Data Dog, Grafana or similar
- Experience in complex problem-solving and multi-system problems
- Exposure to AI tools (GitHub Copilot \ Claude Code) in development cycle and drive development excellence through the usage of AI tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills
