Responsibilities

→Perform the duties of the switching crews they supervise.
→Fill in for the Operations Manager in his absence.
→Apply safety rules and procedures.

Track maintenance experience preferred.
Mechanical knowledge preferred.
Familiar with and able to apply safety rules and procedures.
Good communication skills.
Prior supervisory experience.

Requirements

Able to perform physically strenuous work.
Requires constant standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and balancing in a safe manner.
Requires frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
Able to push and pull with up to 150 lbs of force to throw a switch.
Must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
Available 24/7/365.

Work outdoors in inclement weather.
Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions.
Position involves extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions.
Work may involve confined spaces.
