R. J. Corman Railroad Services is seeking a Flash-Butt Welder to join our team in Nicholasville, KY.

Responsibilities

→Operate flash-butt welding equipment to repair rail.
→Safely drive, operate, and maintain CDL-B required vehicles and equipment.
→Transporting, operating, and servicing heavy equipment.
→Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used.
→Maintenance, cleaning, and set-up of equipment requiring use of small and large tools.
→Digging, hammering, and other physical types of work with various tools.
→Follow DOT regulations, ensuring proper permits and driving regulations are followed.
→Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
→Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process.
→Other duties as assigned.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, Education and Experience:

→CDL-B required.
→Previous experience operating flash-butt welder required.
→Knowledge of DOT regulations, permits, and driving requirements.
→Must pass background, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
