Welder

R.J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking a welder to join our team in Nicholasville, KY.

Responsibilities:  

• Perform work on earth moving equipment, railroad equipment, and other structures 
• Perform other duties as required. 

• 5 plus years’ experience in fabrication, Mig and stick welding 
• Have passed or able to pass state certification 3G/4G welding test using .045 flux core 
• Able to read and understand blueprints 
• Able to design and build projects 
• Experience with brake press, shear, plasma cutter, torch, and iron worker 
• Must be able to travel as needed 

• Able to perform physical strenuous work 
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch 
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs 
• Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessary 
• Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment
