Room Attendant - Housekeeper

At Hi-Lo Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott, we know that a clean and comfortable guest room is one of the most important parts of the guest experience. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Room Attendant (Housekeeper) to join our Housekeeping team.

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned hotel areas according to Marriott and company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently according to established hotel standards.
• Change bed linens and replace towels in checkout rooms and occupied rooms as requested.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain all guest room surfaces and furnishings.
• Replace guest amenities, supplies, and room essentials.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and presentation standards are met.

• Provide friendly and courteous interactions with guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate special needs to supervisors.
• Help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working in occupied guest rooms.

• Restock housekeeping carts and supplies throughout the shift.
• Maintain linen closets, storage rooms, and housekeeping areas in an organized and clean condition.
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory control and supply management as directed.

• Follow Marriott brand standards and housekeeping procedures.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout assigned work areas.
• Ensure rooms are guest-ready and meet quality expectations.

• Work closely with fellow housekeeping associates, supervisors, and Front Desk staff.
• Assist with special projects and deep cleaning assignments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout the shift.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on hotel occupancy.
