Junior Bookkeeper

A company specialising in events planning, seeks to employ a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join their accounts department. Suitable candidates will assist with accounting functions and ensure compliance in all records. Proficiency in Afrikaans and English is a requirement for this role with a minimum of 2 years’ experience from an accounting background. Responsibilities Perform bookkeeping up to trial balance. Capture and reconcile financial transactions. Assist with general accounting functions and reporting. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial records. Provide support to senior staff within the department. Requirements Degree or diploma in Finance, accounting or similar Minimum 2 years’ accounting background. Bookkeeping up to trial balance proficiency. Strong working knowledge of Pastel Partner. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Own reliable transport. Stable employment history. Proficiency in Afrikaans and English. Previous experience at an audit firm will be advantageous.
