A well-established and highly respected financial services organisation is seeking a proactive and solution-driven Microsoft 365 Specialist to join their technology team. This is not merely a technical support desk position; it is a highly collaborative role focused on digital transformation, process optimisation, and cloud collaboration across multiple business entities. The successful candidate will take strategic ownership of the cloud productivity suite, working closely with cross-functional internal partners to analyse operational workflows, design intelligent automations, and establish best practices for the broader platform. Key Responsibilities Environment Optimisation: Lead the maintenance, monitoring, configuration, and continuous functional improvement of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive. Process Automation: Analyse existing business processes and translate complex requirements into scalable, practical digital solutions, automated workflows, and business intelligence reporting. Business Consultation: Partner with various business units and stakeholders to scope needs, design architectures, and deliver measurable operational value. User Adoption & Support: Provide technical guidance, high-quality documentation, and structured training to empower internal teams and maximise software ROI. Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor platform health, investigate anomalies, and resolve complex technical challenges to ensure seamless cross-entity continuity. Requirements Education: BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related quantitative field. Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and solutions development. Core Competencies: Exceptionally strong analytical problem-solving skills combined with professional, confident stakeholder engagement capabilities across diverse corporate divisions. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or an equivalent industry-recognised vendor credential.
