A prominent leader in the telematics and IoT space is seeking an independent, self-motivated Business Sales Consultant to join their corporate commercial team based at their Randburg head office. This permanent position is well-suited for an articulate, mature, and results-oriented professional who can engage confidently with stakeholders at all corporate levels. The core focus of this position is to expand the organisation's market footprint within the vehicle fleet management sector through strategic new business development and robust relationship management. Standard corporate working hours apply. Key Responsibilities Identify commercial opportunities and drive new business acquisition within the corporate B2B sector. Structure, negotiate, and interpret legally binding corporate contracts. Deliver tailored solutions and value propositions centered around vehicle fleet management systems. Achieve predetermined monthly and annual installation and sales targets. Maintain, develop, and leverage an active client database to secure repeat and add-on business. Balance sales pipelines to achieve an average composition of 20% first-time clients and 80% expansion business from existing accounts. Deliver end-to-end customer service and resolve account queries or administrative requests responsibly. Undergo continuous product assessments to maintain an expert understanding of internal IoT and telematics solutions. Prepare and deliver high-impact corporate presentations to diverse stakeholder groups. Sustain expected daily and weekly sales activity metrics as defined by commercial management. Compile and submit thorough weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales performance reports. Oversee all standard administrative functions, including the timeous generation and submission of client quotes. Action and qualify inbound sales leads from internal and external networks within agreed operational timelines. Build and nurture collaborative networks across business, dealer, broker, and fitment center channels. Requirements Relevant Diploma/Degree and formal sales training certifications or a recognised professional sales qualification. Minimum of 3 years of external sales experience specifically within the corporate B2B, IoT, or telematics sectors. A proven, verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a corporate environment. Valid driver's license and ownership of a reliable personal vehicle. Advanced interpersonal communication, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills. Strong organizational proficiency, self-motivation, and an structured approach to time management.
