At Raymond Central, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Rental Shop Technician to support forklift maintenance on our rental and renewed fleet in the Kansas City branch location.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain, service and support used equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met.
- →Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established.
- →Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility.
- →Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management.
- →Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
- →Work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures.
- →Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
- →Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately.
- →Keep work area clean and safe at all times.
- →Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required.
- →Maintain uniforms to always look neat and professional.
- →Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position.
- →Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.
- →Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
-Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
-Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications
-Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries
Requirements
~1 min read-HS Diploma or GED
-At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
-Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
-Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height
