Field Service Technician

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical and responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.   

• →Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• →Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• →Train other employees as needed.
• →Maintain a profitable billing level.
• →Follow all Service Department procedures.
• →Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• →Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
• →Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.
• →Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.
• →Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
• →Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle.
• →Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.
• →Always represent the entire company.
• →Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable.
• →Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.
• →Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by the company’s insurance carrier.
• →Report accidents whether self or customer.
• →Account for 100% of available time during working hours.
• →Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
• →Must coordinate all overtime with assigned supervisor.
• →Must follow all procedures in the company’s Employee Handbook.
• →Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment in regard to safety.
• →Must be willing to work out of town as necessary.
• →Establish a positive rapport with customers.
• →Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Service Supervisors or Managers.
