Basketball Referee

Flemington, NJ | Fall Season, Part Time, Hourly | Wednesdays: 6pm -9pm & Saturdays: 9am - 12pm | $18 - $22 per hour

We are looking for a Basketball Referee to join our team at the Y! We spend our days positively impacting the community around us. We help members reach their potential, enact goals, and we change lives in our Y community.

• 18+ years of age
• Must have a strong basketball knowledge
• Confidence making calls, and the ability to handle competitive adult league environments
• Previous officiating experience preferred

• →Responsible for officiating 4v4 full-court adult basketball league games in a professional, fair, and consistent manner
• →Enforcing league rules, managing game flow, tracking fouls and violations, maintaining player safety, and ensuring good sportsmanship throughout competition
• →Must be able to communicate effectively with players, coaches, and league staff while keeping games organized and on schedule
