You are a motivated and adaptable physiotherapist with strong clinical reasoning, broad professional knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality rural healthcare. You work confidently with reduced clinical direction, communicate effectively with consumers and colleagues, and enjoy the variety and professional opportunities that come with rural generalist practice.

    • Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and be eligible for current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

    • Hold a two-year Master's qualification with a related allied health undergraduate degree, or have at least two years' postgraduate experience, and demonstrate AHP2-level competencies.

    • Demonstrate sound clinical assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation skills across a broad range of physiotherapy presentations.

    • Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning and professional judgement to deliver safe, effective and person-centred services with reduced clinical direction.

    • Demonstrate strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to contribute to multidisciplinary practice, clinical supervision and continuous service improvement.

Allied Health professionals across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network deliver high-quality, person-centred services across a diverse regional and rural healthcare environment.

Our teams work across acute, subacute, outpatient, community, rehabilitation, residential aged care, paediatrics and other specialist services, partnering closely with consumers, families, multidisciplinary teams and communities across the Limestone Coast.

Joining Allied Health at LCLHN means becoming part of a collaborative and supportive professional network with opportunities for clinical supervision, professional development, education, service improvement and multidisciplinary practice, while building a rewarding career in regional South Australia.

As a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse clinical presentations and service settings, including community-based care and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with experienced health professionals, contribute to multidisciplinary care and support the development of emerging clinicians, while continuing to strengthen your own clinical expertise through varied rural practice.

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) delivers essential health services to more than 67,000 people across South Australia's south-east, while also supporting communities in Western Victoria. With over 1,800 staff and approximately 250 volunteers, LCLHN is a major regional employer committed to safe, high-quality and community-focused care.
