Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist nurses in routine tasks with patients/clients associated with the activities of daily living.
- →Set up for nursing procedures, clean equipment, and manage local stock levels.
- →Contribute to the maintenance of a physically and culturally safe environment for patients/clients and staff.
- →Follow established guidelines, protocols, procedure, standards, and systems.
- →Provide person centred care.
Requirements
~1 min read- Be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing (2nd year or above).
- Experience, within the boundaries of your education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing/midwifery care in the healthcare setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Understanding the role of the Assistant in Midwifery within the healthcare setting.
