South Carolina States  College of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences seeks an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education (Tenure Track). The selected candidate must be passionate about teaching and inclusive pedagogy; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across campus; and committed to actively contributing to SCSU's Teacher Education mission.

  Supervise Math Education students during Field Clinical Experience

• →

  Assist in Program Coordination

• →Teach courses face-to-face on campus
• →Teach classes online when necessary

Minimum Requirements for entry into position:

Ph.D. in Mathematics Education

Preferred Requirements for Entry into position:

• →Ph.D in Mathematics with experience in K-12
• →

  Demonstrated experience in the K-12 setting

• →

  Experience in teaching at the higher education level

• →

  Evidence of strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

  Effective written communication skills
