The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is seeking a Breast Imaging radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Primary clinical responsibilities will be based at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children's hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center based at a public university in Florida. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative academic setting with flexible scheduling and strong institutional support for teaching, research, and professional development. Faculty work closely with a robust residency program and benefit from an outstanding referral base. |
Responsibilities

- →Digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
- →Breast ultrasound
- →Breast MRI
- →Image-guided breast procedures, including:
- →Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies
- →Stereotactic biopsies
- →Ultrasound-guided biopsies
- →MRI-guided biopsies
- →Teaching and mentoring radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities
- →Participation in scholarly and academic activities
