Job Description:
The University of Florida is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support the Division of Enrollment Management’s marketing and communications efforts by creating engaging, high-quality visual content across a variety of platforms. In this role, you will create print and digital materials, develop accessible digital content, manage multiple creative projects, and collaborate with internal clients and vendors to deliver effective communications that align with UF brand standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create high-quality visual designs using typography, illustrations, photography, logos, and other visual elements

  • Collaborate with Enrollment Management Marketing and Communications team to conceptualize and develop creative projects

  • Design print-ready materials including booklets, brochures, mailers, postcards, posters, flyers, promotional items, and signage

  • Apply University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management brand standards across all projects

  • Develop reusable templates and advise internal clients on design strategies, principles, and best practices

  • Create engaging and ADA-compliant visual designs for the division’s electronic communications

  • Design optimized digital posts including but not limited to website and microsite wireframes/mockups

  • Assist Slate email communications, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and other digital materials

  • Create digital and paid advertising assets optimized for their intended platforms and audiences

  • Collaborate on multiple design projects of varying scope and complexity while meeting established deadlines.

  • Coordinate with campus partners and other stakeholders to support successful project development and production

  • Distribute production files, review proofs, and oversee final quality control to ensure completed projects meet established design, branding, and production standards

Expected Salary:

$55,000 annually

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:
  • →Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Acrobat
  • →Proficiency in packaging print files using Adobe InDesign
  • →Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • →Experience with wireframing and web design mockups using Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma
  • →Understanding of web standards, ADA accessibility guidelines, and responsive design
  • →Strong individual contributor who effectively supports team and organizational goals
  • →Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • →Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • →Ability to manage multiple duties, assignments, and priorities
  • →Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • →Knowledge of HTML coding
  • →Illustration skills
