- Full -time – Long Term contract until 30 June 2030

~1 min readLead and deliver palliative care education, training and learning initiatives for nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams. Drive practice improvement, support policy alignment, coordinate projects and contribute to safe, positive care outcomes.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide expert paediatric palliative care and clinical guidance, using evidence and experience to support decision making
- →Lead education and professional development, evaluate outcomes, and ensure clinical documentation meets organisational standards.
- →Coordinate and provide leadership to projects, programs and/or research to achieve improved educational outcomes and/or service delivery.
- →Collaborate with Clinical Services, Nurse Consultants and other relevant stakeholders to co-ordinate teaching and learning processes and achieve planned outcomes.
- →Contribute specific expertise to monitor and evaluate research activities to improve nursing practice and service delivery.
Requirements
~1 min read- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience and demonstrated experience and skills in nursing education or staff development.
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
