3M’s Services LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide residential support to individuals with I/DD and mental health needs.

As a Group Home DSP, you will assist members with daily living activities, promote independence, maintain a safe and supportive home environment, and ensure assigned shift responsibilities are completed.

Responsibilities

  • →Direct Care: Assist members with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, daily routines, and other activities of daily living.
  • →Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed when properly trained and authorized, following agency procedures.
  • →Member Safety: Provide appropriate supervision, monitor member well-being, and maintain a safe residential environment.
  • →Household Responsibilities: Complete assigned shift duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining an organized home.
  • →Behavioral Support: Implement individualized support plans, positive behavioral strategies, and appropriate de-escalation techniques.
  • →Community Engagement: Encourage independence and assist members with appointments, recreational activities, and community participation.
  • →Documentation: Complete accurate daily service notes, medication records, shift reports, and required documentation.
  • →Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working with individuals with I/DD, mental health needs, or in residential care preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to complete required background screenings and agency training.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and medication administration certifications as required.
  • Strong communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assist with physical care needs and household responsibilities.
