Applications are invited for appointment as Nursing Manager (at the rank of Senior Technical Manager) in the HKU Health System of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534706) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in our Quality, Safety and Risk Oversight Programmes to ensure safe, quality clinical care and good clinical outcomes for all HKUHS Clinical Service Units
- →Serve on our partnering hospitals’ Quality, Safety and Risk Committees
- →Oversee relevant incident reports and complaints related to clinical matters to assure robust clinical risk management and continuous improvement
- →Lead specialist clinic services, and support initiatives focused on establishing new clinics, improving patient care outcomes and operational efficiency, in the HKUHS Clinical Centre
- →Provide consultancy services to support the development, delivery and quality assurance of clinical services across our network and in support of designated HKUHS innovation and development initiatives
- Oversight of good clinical governance in our partnering hospitals and Clinical Service Units
- Efficient and effective operations of our HKUHS Clinical Centre
- HKUHS Clinical Centre Services and support of innovation and development initiatives
- Consultancy services across our network in areas such as quality, safety and clinical risk management
Nice to Have

- Experience in Quality and Safety, and continuous improvement management in healthcare delivery
- Influencing skill and ability to build consensus in a multidisciplinary environment
- Knowledge and experience in coaching healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of healthcare services delivery in Hong Kong
- Participation in the promotion of professional activities
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
