In this exciting opportunity, you will provide high-quality direct nursing care in our purpose-built aged care facility, Sheoak Lodge. As a registered nurse, you’ll have the chance to enhance your skill set and grow in a supportive environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and mentoring staff at various stages of their careers. ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Provide professional high-quality direct nursing care within the Millicent and Districts Hospital and Health Service - Sheoak Aged Care Lodge.
  • Opportunities to extend and expand your scope of practice in a vibrant rural setting.
  • Bring and grow in your skill set by providing support and guidance to a broad range of nursing staff and care workers, from the novice to experienced staff, supported by a team of Nurse Educators.

ABOUT YOU

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.
  • Creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting
