• Location - Northfield, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre
• Salary   AHP-3   $112,139 - $120,284 p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging
• Part-time working 30 hours per week and temporary from 1/2/27  up to 30/1/28

Make a real difference as a Senior Speech Pathologist with CO ACT. Lead quality care, shape service delivery and help older people achieve better outcomes and smoother transitions from hospital to home and community.

• →Lead and coordinate speech pathology services for consumers with complex needs
• →Assess and manage swallowing, communication and cognitive disorders
• →Develop care plans that support recovery, function and safe discharge
• →Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality, person centred maintenance care
• →Build strong links with community providers, aged care and follow up services
• →Shape models of care, patient pathways and service improvements
• →Represent speech pathology on committees and support SA Health initiatives

You’re a confident, compassionate clinician who brings sound judgement, strong communication skills and a person centred approach to care. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• A Speech Pathology degree and eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Broad clinical experience across acute, rehab, community or aged care
• Expertise in dysphagia and cognitive communication assessment and care
• Strong clinical judgement and evidence based, consumer centred practice
• Proven teamwork, clear communication and sound clinical record keeping
