Services Assistant - Jamestown Casual Pool

• Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Jamestown Hospital and Health Service, Jamestown
• WHD2 | Casual (up to 26 March 2027), working over a 7 day roster
• Salary: $31.70 - $32.28 per hour + 25% casual loading

As a Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our health unit runs smoothly, providing top-notch catering and cleaning services that directly impact patient comfort and care. From preparing and delivering delicious, nutritious meals to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment, your contributions will be key in enhancing the overall experience for both patients and staff. Plus, you’ll help with laundry duties, ensuring everything stays fresh and ready. If you’re ready to be part of a dynamic team that values efficiency and quality, we want you to join us!

• Basic knowledge of safe working conditions.
• Basic knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
• Basic knowledge of Infection Control Standards, including cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• Basic knowledge and commitment to customer service principles.
• Knowledge of computer packages eg. Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act and Risk Management principles.
