If you're ready to bring your clinical skills to a service that genuinely invests in its people and the communities they serve, this ongoing, full-time role within the Adult Mental Health Service could be your next step.

Embedded within the NALHN Mental Health Service Adult Community team, you'll provide specialist social work assessment, intervention, and recovery-focused support to adults experiencing complex mental health challenges across Adelaide's northern suburbs. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and contributing to multidisciplinary care planning
  • Delivering evidence-informed individual and group interventions that support recovery and community participation
  • Collaborating with consumers, carers, and external agencies to coordinate care across health and community systems
  • Providing consultation, advocacy, and liaison to support safe and appropriate transitions of care
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment and recovery-oriented practice with adults
  • Strong understanding of the psychosocial factors that influence mental health and wellbeing in community settings
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute constructively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to SA Health's person-centred care values and the NALHN community it serves
  • Current driver's licence suitable for community-based work across the northern metropolitan region

To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
