We are also building an iconic and state-of-the-art academic complex on campus, which will provide a wonderful environment conducive to the pursuit of academic excellence when it is completed.

The School has been proactively scaling up its professoriate staff strength at all levels across the six academic areas, namely Accounting and Law, Economics, Finance, Innovation and Information Management, Management and Strategy, and Marketing. To realise our vision and achieve new heights, the School commits to further strengthening the efforts in attracting top talents from around the world.

We now invite applications for appointment as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (several posts) in all six academic areas in the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in business or economics related discipline. The appointees are expected to deliver quality teaching and be committed to high-quality scholarly research and services. 

Those appointed at Professor/Associate Professor level will also be expected to mentor and nurture the next generation of scholars and researchers, and assume high-level service/administrative responsibilities.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 3 years initially, to commence on July 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms subject to approval.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and professional leave, medical benefits, and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
