SEO/AEO/GEO Intern

We optimize to get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and this internship puts you at the frontier of how search actually works now.

We're looking for a curious, AI-native SEO/AEO/GEO Intern to help grow Recooty's visibility across both traditional search engines and AI answer engines. You'll work on real content for a global SaaS product from day one, learning a skill set that most marketers in India haven't caught up to yet. Perform well, and this converts into a full-time role after 3 months.

• →Support on-page SEO: meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure
• →Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps against competitors
• →Optimize blog content for AI citation: direct-answer openings, question-format headers, FAQ sections, and structured data
• →Research how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews answer queries in the hiring and HR tech space, and find opportunities for Recooty to get cited
• →Track rankings, AI mentions, and organic traffic using Google Search Console and Analytics
• →Assist with internal linking audits and content refresh plans for existing blog posts
• →Monitor SEO health: indexing issues, duplicate content, and technical fixes
• →Compile weekly reports on what's working, what's not, and why

• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals: on-page, off-page, and technical
• Genuine curiosity about AI search tools; you already use ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini and notice how they cite sources
• Awareness of featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI Overviews (AEO concepts)
• Strong written English with good editing instincts
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus
• Comfort with spreadsheets and structured reporting
• Students, recent graduates, or digital marketing course completers based in or willing to relocate to Jabalpur

• Any hands-on SEO work: a personal blog, college project, or freelance gig
• Familiarity with schema markup or structured data basics
• Experience with SEO tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest
• Having ever asked "why did ChatGPT recommend that brand?" and actually dug into the answer

• ₹8,000 - ₹10,000/month stipend
• Pre-Placement Offer (PPO): a full-time role at Recooty after 3 months, based on performance
• Training in GEO and AEO, skills that are exploding in demand but that almost nobody in India has yet
