About the Role

~1 min read

As an Events and Outreach Volunteer, you’ll help raise awareness of Aquarius and its gambling services across the West Midlands and West Mercia. You’ll support the team at health and wellbeing events, educational and awareness events, and in local communities, helping people understand the support available to those affected by gambling.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet and engage with members of the public, young people and professionals, providing information, offering brief interventions and signposting people to appropriate support. You’ll also work alongside the Outreach Team and act as an ambassador for Aquarius and its gambling services.

You’ll also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, demonstrate good self-awareness and recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion. We’re looking for someone who can use their own initiative while knowing when to ask for help, and who is open to advice, guidance and feedback from the team.
