Rental Property Customer Success Consultant

An industry-leading award-winning software company, expanding internationally is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Customer Success Consultant to join their Rental Asset Management Solution team. This is a permanent, full-time role based in-office at their Somerset West head office, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. This is an engaging, high-impact role for a rental property professional who loves helping people, navigating technology, and driving seamless software adoption. As the primary partner to new and existing property agency clients, you will take ownership of the client onboarding journey, delivering expert training, providing ongoing support, and ensuring agencies maximize the value of the platform. Core Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Training: Drive and own the client onboarding journey, conducting tailored online training sessions and guiding property agents on system features, billing flows, and best practices. Client Relationship Management: Build and foster strong, trusted relationships with rental agency stakeholders, understanding their unique operational needs to ensure optimal software adoption and minimize client churn. Data Management & Audits: Handle, interpret, and audit large volumes of rental portfolio data accurately using MS Excel to ensure smooth system migration and setup. Consultation & Advisory Support: Serve as a subject matter expert, offering insightful advice based on rental industry knowledge, basic billing principles, and system functionalities. Proactive Client Care: Conduct regular usage audits, resolve support queries via phone, email, and virtual sessions, and collaborate with internal product teams to continuously improve user experience. Requirements Non-negotiable rental property industry experience (e.g., former rental agent, rental portfolio manager, or rental agency operations specialist). Strong technical aptitude with comfortable MS Excel navigation and basic formula competency (essential for handling data and billing software setups). Ability to speak and understand Afrikaans fluently or at a high conversational level to support a mature client demographic effectively. Proven ability to educate, train, and guide clients with immense patience, clarity, and empathy. Sound understanding of rental agency workflows, basic accounting/billing principles, and rental legislation is highly beneficial. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a confident, professional communication style. Must be based locally and available to work 100% on-site in Somerset West (Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00).
