- Disassembly and Inspection: Carefully disassembling equipment to access components, identifying defects, and assessing the extent of repairs needed.
- Repair and Replacement: Repairing or replacing damaged or worn-out components, using various tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Reassembly and Testing: Reassembling the equipment after repairs, ensuring proper function, and conducting thorough testing to verify performance.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, parts used, and testing results.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures throughout the refurbishment process, including handling hazardous materials.
- Tracks and reports on accomplishments such as total refurbishments completed, machine error or defects out in the field
- Quality Control: Ensuring that refurbished equipment meets quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues that may arise with equipment and or during the refurbishment process.
- Orders and maintains inventory of parts for use in refurbishment and the general service operation.
- Collaboration: Working with various stakeholders (sales, technicians, service manager) to coordinate refurbishment projects and ensure optimal outcomes.

- →Programs machine display screens (e.g Melitta, Azkoyen, Coffee Art, Perfect Servings etc) as needed
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude, including knowledge of diagnostic tools, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex equipment issues.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in disassembly, repair, and reassembly, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
- Communication: Clear communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate records and reports of repairs and testing.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of prior beverage equipment service/refurbishment experience preferred.
