Accounting Supervisor

Red Ember Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounting Supervisor for their Client in PE. Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training to develop team members and enhance performance. Prepare accurate, clear, and error-free financial statements for companies, close corporations, trusts, and individuals. Apply sound technical expertise to analyze financial data and provide practical insights. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients through exceptional service delivery. Prepare and review tax computations in accordance with applicable legislation and professional standards. Review work completed by junior team members and trainees, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and compliance. Requirements Knowledge of IFRS for SME’s Proficient in CaseWare working papers Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties Team management skills Strong communication skills (written and spoken) (English and Afrikaans) Registered or eligible to register as Professional Accountant with SAIPA, Chartered Accountant or AGA(SA) with SAICA Bachelors degree in Accounting (BCOM) or PGDA Post article experience will be advantageous Technically competent in the following: Independent Reviews Taxation Companies Act IT Software including Microsoft Office and Pastel SAGE VIP experience will be advantageous
