Attendant, Park Services - Universal Kids Resort

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of front and back-of-house restrooms, waste receptacles, and common grounds in a timely, safe, and organized manner. Upholds show quality standards while actively providing exemplary Guest service to internal and external Guests. Ensures the proper usage of chemicals and supplies while ensuring safety standards are being met. Actively participates in the collection of recycling material in accordance with current company standards. As assigned, operates various cleaning and waste handling equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Thoroughly maintains and upkeeps cleanliness of assigned area/land restrooms while ensuring the proper usage of chemical and supplies. Maintains cleanliness following all safety standards which includes but is not limited to:
  • Sweeping, mopping, and water pushing with a squeegee.
  • Wiping toilets, sinks, urinals, and baby tables.
  • Changing trash and sanitary waste bags.
  • Dusting vents, lights, and stalls.
  • Replacing all paper products.
  • Preparing and refilling chemical bottles.
  • Cleaning stainless fixtures and mirrors.
  • Stocking cleaning supplies, paper products, etc.
  • Operating trash compactor.
  • Accurately completing daily logs.
  • Verifying proper usage of chemicals and supplies.
• Maintains and upkeeps cleanliness of assigned area. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Cleaning out debris in planters.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and water pushing with squeegee.
  • Wiping down benches.
  • Litter picking.
• Responsible for recycling and trash collection (RTC) in areas as assigned. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Emptying and relining waste receptacles with trash bags.
  • Maintaining exterior and interior cleanliness of waste receptacles and collection hoppers.
  • Operating trash compactor.
  • Sweeping and litter picking.
  • Ensuring recycling material is collected and placed in designated areas.
  • Supports recycling material baling and sorting efforts.
• Operates company equipment (vehicles, waste handling equipment, pressure washers, floor equipment, etc.) following Standard Operating Procedures in a safe and responsible manner. Ensures consistent overall cleanliness and appropriate storage of equipment. Reports maintenance issues for all assigned building(s), restroom(s), and company equipment.
• Completes daily routine maintenance needs for company equipment – including but not limited to – refueling vehicles, cleaning vacuum components, inspecting tow trailers, and recycling equipment inspections. Assists with projects, initiatives and sustainment efforts as directed.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
