We are looking for a strong and technically grounded Sr. Manager of Accounting to join Reformation's finance team at an exciting stage of our growth. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role built for someone who loves being close to the work, takes pride in getting the details right, and is ready to broaden their accounting footprint in a public company environment.
This role sits within a broader accounting leadership team and works closely alongside senior accounting leaders across GL, revenue, and general accounting. It is an ideal next step for a strong practitioner who is ready to grow their leadership presence and take on meaningful scope in a fast moving, high-growth environment. Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own or support the month-end close process across the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and management reports in accordance with US GAAP
- Reconcile and investigate outstanding balances, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies and variances
- Support the year-end close process and assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Own or support the revenue and receivables month-end close process, including reconciliations and analyses to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and financial statement accuracy
- Oversee accounting across multiple revenue streams including DTC, wholesale, and e-commerce, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
- Monitor and accurately capture evolving business activity in the financial statements as the business grows and new revenue models emerge
- Support the design and implementation of scalable processes and internal controls that strengthen the close and compliance environment
- Act as a key contact for external auditors facilitating GL and revenue related testing
- Stay current on changes in accounting standards and flag their impact on the business
- Lead and develop a small team, building habits of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Build strong working relationships with adjacent teams including FP&A, Customer Love, Tech, Wholesale, and Finance
- Support senior accounting leadership with financial results, reporting requests, and ad hoc analysis
- 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience with a solid GL and revenue accounting foundation, including some people leadership experience
- CPA required or actively pursuing
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes in a retail, apparel, e-commerce, or CPG environment
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition in a multi-channel retail environment
- Exposure to or experience within a public company reporting environment a strong plus
- Strong ERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferred
- Strong Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions
- Clear communicator who can translate accounting detail into actionable insight for the teams around them

What We Offer
~3 min readAt Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 + 10% bonus eligibility, depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.
This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion.
