As our Parts Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of the shop-keeping track of equipment, wrangling paperwork, and making sure every rental runs smoothly from pick-up to delivery. You'll partner with awesome teammates across operations, fleet, and finance, and you'll get a front-row seat to the action in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

  • →Order, receive, inspect, store, and issue parts for rental equipment and accessories.
  • →Maintain accurate, timely inventory records using company systems and required documentation.
  • →Source parts from local suppliers and approved vendors while controlling costs.
  • →Monitor inventory levels, establish appropriate stock levels for common parts, and replenish stock to prevent shortages.
  • →Add and manage part numbers for locally unique equipment.
  • →Coordinate parts deliveries and support local operations through multiple delivery methods.
  • →Conduct spot checks and monthly physical inventory counts.
  • →Keep the parts room and stock areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • →Collaborate with the national Parts Coordinator and team members across the organization.
  • →Deliver exceptional service and support to internal customers.
  • →Safely operate a forklift after completing required training and certification.
  • →Follow and promote all applicable safety practices and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical customer-service experience preferred; 2+ years is a plus.
  • Strong organization, communication, listening, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, use sound judgment, and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • General understanding of mechanical or technical tools, language, and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, inventory software, and order-processing systems.
  • Ability to read technical procedures, write professional correspondence, and solve practical problems.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license in your state of residence, maintained throughout employment, with no more than two minor moving violations and/or two points.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification within six months of hire.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around variable temperatures and weather, periodic high noise levels, dust, odors, electrical hazards, ladders, and stairs.
