Job Overview:

On Premise and Off Premise Leader in priority and exciting market! Lead distributor partnerships and ensure key relationships with customers.  Own the on-premise and off-premise market and be a brand champion for the Remy-Cointreau portfolio. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the on and off premise expert managing priority territory with key customers and distributor partner
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key accounts in collaboration with distributor partners to ensure collective success and driving KPIs
  • Execute annual and monthly business objective, sales planning, and business review process in collaboration with distributor partners and local support functions. ​
  • Ensure execution of local programming and visual merchandising standards through incentive management, KPI tracking, and regular inspection and coaching in collaboration with distributors.
  • Responsible for managing an allocated field budget and maintaining T&E. The Market Manager for Upstate New York retains final control of A&P and PRR budgets and allocates a budget to this role for use in the field. ​
  • Responsible for territory brand budgets and maintaining T&E. 
  • Executes market-level short & long cycle sales planning process in collaboration with local distributor
  • Motivate and manage distributor sales forces and executives through leadership; inspire confidence, gain respect as an effective company expert.
  • Set agenda, local strategy, and drive execution, program deployment, achievement of standards, and overall business results in defined area.  Responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new and existing market opportunities, adoption of tools and systems, and visual merchandising execution​
  • Local market leader on brand education, visual merchandizing execution, program deployment, and distribution growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with team, brand ambassadors and marketing to drive first class execution and education on programs.
  • Identify key local events to create unique memorable experiences for trade and consumers
  • Be the Remy Cointreau On and Off premise LEADER in an incredible visible territory within an amazing team!
  • Manage all key account relationships across both the On Premise and Off Premise channels in the Buffalo/Rochester area, where approximately 80% of the business is Off Premise. 
  • Take responsibility for aspects of local distributor management in the Buffalo/Rochester area, in collaboration with the Market Manager for Upstate New York.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing within retail and/or 3-Tier distribution environment.
  • Financial & Business Acumen in the areas of data analysis, reporting, marketing knowledge
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must obtain solicitor’s permit (where required by law)​
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Responsibilities

  • →Accountable for Distributor channel selling division performance in priority markets.
  • →Execute regular account sales calls and distributor rideshares to drive sell-in and sell-through performance and execution of Remy-Cointreau visual merchandising
  • →Executes channel / division planning & review process.
  • →Sell in and ensure execution of programming aligned with RC Visual Merchandising Standards
  • →Hands-on responsibility for brand education, visual merchandizing standards, program deployment, & distribution growth initiatives at channel / division level
  • →Collaborate with distributor network to ensure focus on Remy-Cointreau portfolio at accounts through regular communication, training, etc. within account base
  • →Leverage selling resources to support KPIs at accounts, including programming execution, sampling, POS, etc.
  • →Build and maintain relationships with priority accounts to influence and execute against Remy-Cointreau’s visual merchandising standards in collaboration with distributor partners.
  • →Serve as brand education authority on Remy-Cointreau portfolio in assigned sub-market.  
  • →Identify and optimize direct client opportunities (corporate clients, spirit focused social clubs)
  • →Assists Sr. Market Manager in market level sales planning process.
