Electroplating Technician

RenewCO₂ commercializes electrochemical processes to convert CO₂ emissions into carbon-negative materials. What distinguishes us from other CO₂ reduction approaches is our proprietary catalyst, which enables an energy-efficient and selective pathway to existing valuable commodity chemicals, such as formic acid, ammonia, monoethylene glycol, sustainable aviation fuel, and more. Our products can access existing markets, and our economics are projected to be competitive or advantageous compared to current fossil-based production. We will be in a position to offer differentiated carbon-negative products at competitive prices, thereby having a significant impact on emissions and society. The RenewCO₂ leadership team includes experts in electrochemical catalysis and industrial systems, including Dr. Anders Laursen, Dr. Karin Calvinho, and Dr. Chock Karuppaiah, along with industry leaders such as Arne Ballantine (Founder, Ohmium; former Bloom Energy CEO) and Srushti Parhar (ex-Bloom Energy, software industry veteran). Additional leadership team members bring deep expertise from the chemicals and oil & gas sectors across U.S. and Japanese markets and will actively mentor and support selected candidates.

We are looking for an Electroplating Technician to support electroplating, testing, and scale-up activities for CO₂ electrolysis systems.

This is a hands-on technician role involving electrode surface preparation, electroplating/coating, plating solution preparation and maintenance, operation of electroplating equipment, process troubleshooting, and electrochemical testing.
