Service Support Operative

We are currently seeking a Warehouse/ Service Support Operative to join our dedicated team at the Birmingham branch. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy supporting your colleagues, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role, you will support the Service Manager to ensure the service in our Warehouse runs smoothly. Based in the Birmingham branch, you will be working with your colleagues to create an efficient and safe environment throughout the facility. Key responsibilities include: 

• Preparing customer stocks for route delivery 
• Assisting our drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles
• Covering Service Driver routes when required
• Working closely with drivers and management to ensure customer stocks are prepared for delivery
• Completing daily tasks such as packing, sorting and segregation of mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins and other customer stocks
• Organising work area to ensure that the service Centre is efficient and effective
• Focusing on meeting customer service expectations

Warehouse/Service Support Operative Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Organised, self-motivated and reliable.
• Demonstrate clear and confident communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use own initiative and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
