Requirements
~1 min readCandidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience on commercial transportation claims, ideally limousine, livery, motorcoach, charter, or other passenger carrier operations, handling 1st and 3rd party PD/Total Loss, with 7 years of overall claims handling from different lines of business.
- Bachelor's degree (lack of one should not stop you from applying if you possess all the other qualifications).
- Active adjuster license: resident-state license where available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license. Obtain any additional required licenses within 60 days, including state testing.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures, including familiarity with passenger carrier operations and coverage considerations.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate claims data and make sound decisions based on established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ability to complete accurate and timely coverage analysis.Describe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate
About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking highly organized and customer-focused commercial Passenger Transportation 1st and 3rd party Physical Damage Claims Adjusters to join our team, handling claims for limousine, black car, and chauffeured fleets as well as motorcoaches, charter and tour buses, shuttle buses, and school and transit-style passenger buses. The successful candidate will speak with customers on the phone, educating and helping all parties work through their claim to the best possible outcome. You'll handle an inventory of claims, triage critical claims, and deliver best-in-class service to everyone involved, from fleet owners and operators to drivers and third-party claimants.
The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, forward-thinking, and highly motivated, someone who shows initiative and acts. We work cross-departmentally, so collaboration is a must. You can pivot with the best of them. We're looking for a “get-it-doner.”

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to all involved parties by initiating investigations, responding to inquiries, and resolving claims.
- →Gather necessary information from all parties to initiate the claim and explain policy, coverage, and the appropriate course of action.
- →Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves for all potential exposures, and adjust as appropriate throughout the life of the claim.
- →Vendor management. Coordinate the assessment and settlement of damages to limousines, sedans, SUVs, specialty vehicles, motorcoaches, and passenger buses within approved payment authority, including heavy-duty and specialty appraisals, repair facilities, towing and recovery, and downtime and loss-of-use considerations.
- →Recognize recovery opportunities in subrogation and salvage, as well as total loss.
- →Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
- →Provide input for continuous improvement of claim guidelines and processes, best in class.
