PIP (Personal Injury Protection) Litigation Adjuster

Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.

• Bachelor's degree (lack of one should not stop you from applying if you possess all the other qualifications) 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience on point and concentrated in Personal Injury Protection 
• Handling of commercial or ride share policies is highly preferred
• Subrogation referrals 
• Bodily Injury and coordination of benefits between PIP and UM / UIM.
• Have active adjuster license(s) and be willing to obtain all licenses within 45 days, including completing state required testing 
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures 
• Desire to engage in learning opportunities and continuous professional development 
• Willingness to travel for client and claims needs 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Personal Injury Protection Resolution Specialist to join our team. The PIP Resolution Specialist will be responsible for investigating and evaluating PIP / MP claims and coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Your role will also be responsible for handling an inventory of PIP claims and delivering service to all constituents of the claim. 

The ideal candidate has a willingness to work through and design process that supports the quickest claim resolution with the best outcome. In addition, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to give feedback and identify technology and process improvements.  

• →Managing all aspects of PIP litigated and arbitrated cases, including evaluation of the resolution process.
• →Analyzing auto claims to identify areas of dispute, investigating and gathering all necessary information and documentation, evaluating timeliness for handling of all aspects of the PIP claim to include payment and resolution.
• →Recognizing and solving routine and intermediate issues arising out of PIP arbitration cases that can be resolved early before defense counsel involvement. Ongoing review of NJ and NY arbitration forums for timely responses.
• →Managing arbitration and litigation cases related to auto claims disputes for the personal injury protection and / or medical payments coverage, communicating regularly with clients, attorneys, vendors and other stakeholders.
• →Reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with the initial suit-handling plan of action. Partners and/or directs law firms to facilitate timely lawsuit resolution.
• →Analyzing policy language and reaching appropriate coverage decisions.
• →Directing and controlling the activities and costs of outside vendors including defense counsel and coverage counsel, experts and independent adjusters
