Sr. Data Analyst - Transport

Reserv is an insurtech creating and incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology to bring efficiency and simplicity to claims. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims, Reserv is venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures and began operations in May 2022. We are focused on automating highly manual tasks to tackle long-standing problems in claims and set a new standard for TPAs, insurance technology providers, and adjusters alike. We have ambitious (but attainable!) goals and need people who can work in an evolving environment. Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.

• 6-8 years of experience as an individual contributor with experience using modern analytics and programming languages—we’re in Python and dbt/Postgres every day
• A proven ability to interface with high-value customers and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Have a strong demonstrated toolkit to build ETLs and net new data visualizations/reports
• Have a proven track record of shipping high quality data analysis at a high cadence
• A passion for building intuitive technology and a thirst for learning
• Able to think through customer requirements and prioritize what is a must-have, nice-to-have, or irrelevant
• Have a strong technical skillset but also the willingness and ability to take over tasks outside your core competency

• →Work with our data stack: Python (Pandas to NLTK), Postgres/dbt, Looker, Excel, etc.
• →Lead client calls through technical analysis to provide recommendations and insights
• →Ship reporting code and improve our data modeling layer to solve for our customers' needs
• →Work on problems that don’t have a clearly defined answer, often helping define the “right” solution
• →Communicate ideas and specifications through detailed, precise writing
• →Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team
• →Enjoy and have fun being creative and thinking outside of the box. You will need to draw on analogous situations you’ve worked on before, but we are not traversing well-traveled roads. “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”
