A Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned áreas of the hotel. Performs preventative and corrective floor care tasks, special cleaning procedures, supply control and inventory tasks, technical training assistance, and minor equipment maintenance in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

→High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
→At least 6 months working in an institutional cleaning environment operating commercial cleaning and floor care equipment; or related work experience preferred.
→Experience in all phases of operating floor buffers, waxes, floor strippers, and carpet care preferred.
→Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment and methods of soil removal.
→Basic math, reading and writing skills to handle inventory and equipment logs.
